Driving Tour Two

Map of Driving Tour 2 Take Highway 7, a nationally recognized Scenic Byway, south to beautiful DeGray Lake. Continue south on Scenic 7 to Arkadelphia, home of Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University. There you will find the nationally recognized point of origin of Scenic 7 located in a quaint park on the banks of the Ouachita River just a few blocks from Arkadelphia's downtown boutiques, restaurants, and business community. Visit the Chamber of Commerce and pick up instructions for the historic homes driving tour of the area. With over 14 centrally located historic properties, you are sure to enjoy the tour. From Arkadelphia, old Hwy. 67 north will offer you a sample of Arkansas rural charm as you travel through towns with names like "Friendship" and "Social Hill" on your way to Malvern where Hwy. 270 will take you back to Hot Springs.
